In view of the upcoming Republic Day celebrations, the Superintendent of Police (Ops), Border and Kandi Kathua, visited Camp Hiranagar and held an interaction with officers and officials of the Special Operations Group (SOG) Lower Kathua.
The meeting was attended by DySP Ops Kathua along with the incharges of various SOG camps. During the interaction, SP Ops reviewed the prevailing security scenario and stressed the need for heightened vigilance, operational preparedness, and effective coordination among units to ensure peaceful Republic Day celebrations.
He directed the personnel to remain alert, maintain strict surveillance, and respond swiftly to any contingency. The SP Ops also inspected the weapons and equipment of SOG personnel, expressing satisfaction over their readiness. He reiterated the importance of discipline, professionalism, and dedication in safeguarding public security.
