Grand Celebration of Annual Day 2025–26 at PM

PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Hiranagar (Kathua)
celebrated its Annual Day on 28 November 2025 with great zeal and enthusiasm,
showcasing the vibrant talent and remarkable achievements of its students.
The event was graced by Mrs. Priyalakshmi,
CPDO Hiranagar, who presided as the Chief Guest, and Mr. Joginder Paul Sharma,
PRO, SMVDU Katra (J&K), who attended as the Guest of Honour, along with
several distinguished dignitaries.
The celebration began with a warm reception,
where the NCC Colour Party accorded an impressive welcome to the esteemed
guests. The cultural programme opened with a melodious welcome song, followed
by a series of vibrant performances. These included an energetic Bhangra and
Gidda, a thought-provoking skit, and a captivating fusion dance, each
reflecting the rich cultural heritage and creativity of the students.
The Principal, Ms. Narinder Kumari Chumber,
presented the Annual Report for the session 2024–25, highlighting the
commendable achievements of students in academics, sports, and various
co-curricular domains.
A key highlight of the programme was the Prize
Distribution Ceremony, where students who excelled in academics, sports, and
CCA activities were honoured. Teachers who produced outstanding academic
results were also felicitated for their dedication and sincere efforts.
The event concluded with a formal Vote of
Thanks, delivered by Mr. Vikas, PGT Physics, expressing gratitude to the
guests, participants, staff members, and all those who contributed to the
success of the celebration. The ceremony ended on a patriotic note with the
singing of the National Anthem, after which the gathering dispersed with a
sense of pride and joy.
